Ramadan & Social Refresh Campaign, WorldRemit
Worldremit is a money transfer FinTech. Its target is focused on migrants who send money back home. Every 2 months the design team handled the social refresh. Ramadan is a crucial time of the year for Muslim migrants, and Worldremit allocated 35% of the yearly budget for this gold campaign. In 2022, the social refresh and the Ramadan campaign collided in the same month.
I supported the Senior Designer during the Ramadan campaign, playing a pivotal role in asset development and leading motion design initiatives. Taking charge of the Social Refresh, I independently engaged with Social Media Strategists and Campaign Managers, offering crucial context for design decisions and presenting innovative solutions. As the linchpin of communication between the marketing and creative teams, I facilitated seamless collaboration and ensured a cohesive vision.
Striking a delicate balance between two projects, I allocated 90% of my time to the Social Refresh and asset creation. I created over 500 assets within a month with remarkable efficiency, receiving minimal stakeholder feedback, leveraged by an automation platform. I kept the team well-informed through frequent check-ins. Simultaneously, I inherited the master files from the Senior Designer, embarking on a creative journey to develop four distinct concepts on multiple platforms. This encompassed a diverse range of deliverables, including social ads, YouTube content, display materials, and TV commercials, encompassing both static and video formats.

Our monumental efforts reaped remarkable rewards, as the CTR witnessed a surge of 27% compared to the previous Social Refresh campaign. Furthermore, the Ramadan Campaign, which in 2021 is known as the pinnacle of success in the history of Worldremit, witnessed an astounding conversion rate increase of +32% in 2022. This phenomenal achievement garnered resounding praise from my teammates and supervisors, affirming the impact of our collective efforts. I’ve created a video to collate Creative Team’s H1 outputs, which include Social Refreshers and Ramadan Campaign.
